Councils Election: Egbabor, Okpobor, Ejakpovi, Onaemor, Ogbimi Drum Support For PDP Candidates

Ahead of the March 6th Local Government elections in the state, the immediate past Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta state, Hon Emmanuel Egbabor, Chief Kome Okpobor, Dr Nelson Ejakpovi, Comrade Zino Onaemor, Jude Ogbimi and Engr Peter Odunwa have drummed support for all candidates of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the forthcoming Local Government elections in Isoko North.

 

Speaking during the hosting of all PDP political groups in the local government by Chief Kome Okpobor where more than 3000 persons in attendance at the residence of the former chairman of Isoko North Local Government Council, Chief Philip Adheke in Iyede ahead of the local government elections, Egbabor appealed to all party members and people of Isoko North to vote for all the candidates of PDP in the coming election slated for Saturday, 6th March 2021. He noted that the leaders of the party who are patrons of the various groups being hosted deemed it fit to invite all members of the groups ahead of the local government elections.
The groups were Isoko North Equity Movement, Isoko Peoples Parliament, Iyede Peoples Voice, Kome Support Group, Iyede Ososo Political Group among others.

According to Egbabor; “Our Party, PDP does not belong to anyone but we all owns the party and so we must all continue to support the party we all build. We are all leaders of the party in our various wards and we are calling on you all as PDP faithful to vote enmasse for PDP candidates”.

 

“Don’t be discourage by the actions or attitude of some few persons in the party whom instead of bringing people together are doing everything possible to destroy the party because of pride and arrogance. We cannot allow that to affect the fortunes of our party” We all are members of the party and must align with PDP, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s Smart agenda and Barr Kingsley Esiso by voting the party’s candidates so that it can be a win-win for all.”

 

 

Egbabor announced their membership of Isoko North Equity Movement at the event.
On his part, IPMAN Chairman Delta State Comrade Zino Onaemor said, it is time for power to rotate round the local government and so that all party members will reap benefits of their faithful service to the party.

“Our meeting here today is to urge you all to vote for PDP candidates in the local government elections for we promise you all that we will carry everyone along in all the party activities because you all at the grassroots are strength of the party.”

Also speaking Dr, Pharmacy Nelson Ese-Ejakpovi commended all members of the various groups present at the meeting, noting that, the leaders are back to practice the slogan of the party, “Power To The People”.

He recalled how the party started and how they rotate political offices within the party round the various wards in the local government, stressing that, “That was what gave PDP victory in Isoko North Local Government and that is what we the leaders here has brought back to the party.

He therefore appeal to all members of the party to ensure they vote for all PDP candidates vying for various positions in the March 6th Local Government elections.

In a swift response, the leader of Isoko North Equity Movement, Chief Apah Itesah commended all the leaders present for standing for truth, justice, equity and fairness, noting that they will vote for PDP in the local government elections.

Other leaders present were Chief Kome Okpobor, Hon Jude Ogbimi, Engr Peter Odunwa, Chief Ofejiro Okpakpor, Barr Vote Umukoro, Chief Frank Esiwo Ozue, Mr Kome Ozue, Chief Philip Adheke among others.
