Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Political Matters, Hon Jude Omena Ogbimi has congratulated Delta State Governor, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa on the celebration of his 61st birthday anniversary, describing him as a selfless leader who is committed to human capital and infrastructural development.
Hon Ogbimi, in a congratulatory message made available to newsmen commended Okowa for his developmental strides which cuts across all nooks and crannies of the state, saying the leadership qualities exhibited by the governor has culminated into the good governance that Deltans are enjoying.
The statement reads; “At 61, Governor Okowa has recorded tremendous landmark achievements through his Smart Agenda thereby paving the way for socio-economic and political development.
“More so, Governor Okowa has been able to engage youths across Delta state meaningfully through his YAGEP and STEP programme thereby creating employment for themselves as well as becoming employers of labour. These accomplishments, have no doubt attested to the fact that our dear Governor has the interest of the state at heart.
“Today as Executive Governor of Delta State there are convictions in the minds of Deltans and members of Delta State PDP that our democracy is truly yielding desired results. Here is a man who in many instances have demonstrated his love for Deltans above pecuniary interest and taught others to embrace same.
“Looking back over the past 61 years, I am sure that you, your family and indeed all Deltans and admirers do have a cause to be grateful to Almighty God for having granted you a life of great accomplishment and abiding fulfilment.”
Hon Jude Omena Ogbimi added; “Out of my personal convictions, I write to express my warm felicitations to you on the landmark occasion of your 61st birthday anniversary. As you celebrate this glorious day, it is my prayer that Almighty God, who has richly prospered you and ordered your every step, will continue to bless you with good health and fulfillment in the many more years of worthy service ahead of you.
