The Treasurer-General, Isoko Association of North America, Mr Gabriel Odueme has congratulated Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori over his Monday’s victory at the appellate court sitting in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital reinstating him as the legitimate governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Delta State.
Odueme in a statement from Houston, Texas also congratulated members of the PDP and, indeed, all Deltans for their steadfastness, standing strong in solidarity for Hon Oborevwori during the course of the litigation.
According to Mr Odueme, “The brilliant and sound judgment by the Appeal Court in Abuja has heightened my reverence for the nation’s judiciary”.
“It is my greatest expectation that yesterday’s Appellate Court judgements should finally put to rest all controversies surrounding the validity of Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori’s candidacy of the PDP”
“I am appealing to Chief David Edevbie as a true party man and democrat to join hands with Rt. Hon Oborevwori to work for the overall victory of the party in the upcoming 2023 general elections in order to consolidate more on the the development of our beloved Delta State” Odueme added
