Mr. Destiny Akpovoka has won the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) ticket for the Udu, Ughelli Federal House of Representative in Delta State.
Akpovoka defeated his challengers, Mr. Frank Avwerosu Ossai and Mr. Mathias Efe to clinch the party’s ticket for the 2023 general elections.
Declaring the result at Ovwian Police Station venue of the primary, the APGA returning officer, Mr. Chidi Okonji said out of the 91 accredited voters, Mr. Destiny Akpovoka scored 68 votes, Mr. Frank Ossai polled 16 votes, while Mr. Mathias Efe scored 07 votes respectively.
Addressing newsmen after the declaration Mr. Destiny Akpovoka who was overwhelmed with the declaration victory thanked APGA delegates for giving him the massive support at the primary and making him the flag bearing to fly the APGA Federal House of Representative ticket in the 2023 general elections.
He also thanked the Party officials and INEC for conducting a free and fair primary.
