Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council, Hon. Chief Jite Brown has felicitated with the wife of the Governor of Delta State, Dame Mrs. Edith Okowa on her 60th birthday anniversary on 1 June, 2021.
Hon. Brown, in a special message, said on behalf of his family and the good people of Udu Local Government Area, described the Delta State first lady as a “role model in simplicity and selfless service to our dear state, Delta.”
He eulogized Mrs. Okowa, saying her ’05 Initiative’ programme has provided succour to women, children and less privileged in Delta state and beyond.
“Your Excellency, through your impactful leadership and the 05 Initiative programme, you have touched lives and put smiles on the faces of children, the youth, women and the less privileged across the state. You are a role model in simplicity and selfless service to our state, Delta.”
Brown, a very popular chairman because of his simplicity and humility, said Dame Mrs. Edith Okowa’s support for Governor Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa has contributed to the ongoing development in the state.
“You are a pillar of support for our dear Governor, His Excellency, Senator (Dr.) Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa in his strides in setting Delta State on the path of infrastructural renaissance, economic growth, peace and prosperity.”
Hon. Chief Jite Brown, his family and organization prayed for the Delta State’s First Lady and wish her well. “We pray the Almighty God to continue to endow you and your family with good health, wisdom and energy in service to our fatherland, Delta State.
