The People’s Redemption Party, (PRP) Delta State House of Assembly, Isoko North Constituency candidate, Hon Alumeri Omojevwe Blessing , has said she is still on the race to the State House of Assembly and has not stepped down for any candidate.

Hon Blessing, stated this in a media parley with newsmen in Ozoro, headquarters of Isoko North Local Government, of the state while reacting to some rumors going round that she has stepped down for the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) against her.

She said; “The rumour is unfounded, baseless and lack merit. What those flying the unreasonable and ridiculous kite are trying to achieve which appeared dead on arrival, is firstly to give themselves the fake hope that they are in the race to win; secondly to distract and remove my eye from the ball where it’s already glued to and thirdly, to inject confusion in the mind of the public.

“My main aim of contesting is to exercise my constitutional right, win election and provide effective and exemplary leadership for the people of Isoko North Constituency as captured in my manifestos and the manifesto of our great party, the PRP.”

She thereafter blamed the speculation on the antics of the PDP who are trying all they can to swindle and sway her supporters in tomorrow (Saturday) polls.

The PRP candidate also noted that, she cannot relinquish the position and the trust her party and supporters has entrusted to her and further advised the public to discard such speculations.
