It is time to provide these students irrespective of their background.with the necessary opportunities from elementary to tertiary education.

You cannot excel in any chosen field of endeavour without appropriate education. There is great difference between the educated and uneducated. Their mental efficiency is not the same, this is the cause of inequality.

To the students whose joy knew no bounds, Eseoghene Abanun charged “My advice to you is create time table for studying at home, read novels, study your dictionary to improve your vocabulary.Take your education seriously and make good use of the free notebooks provided. We will come back at the end of the term to pick the best top three students from Junior Secondary School one to three, and assist them further. Do not keep bad company. Your purpose in school is to study to become somebody in future. I pray for wisdom, understanding, and academic excellence upon every student here today in Jesus name. You will all grow up and make your parents and our country Nigeria proud in Jesus Name..”  she said.

I don’t know how to express my joy. On behalf of the staff and students of Ethiope Mixed Secondary School I want to appreciate you for coming and giving our students notebooks and biro”s. God will bless you but please we are expecting you to do more of this we really are expecting more of this kind of grand gestures from you and other well meaning Nigerians.

On her part, Mrs Flourish Esiri Zibili the principal of Urhiapele mixed secondary school in her address said “on behalf of this great institution I want to thank you for your kind gesture  I pray that God in his own way will surprise you for having these students in mind to help them because really there are some of them who come to school with just one notebook, most pathetic is when three students in different classes share one bag.

“This act of love will go a long way to cushion the effect of the economy on the parents who up till now have not been able to provide their children with the required learning materials. Thank you very much and God bless you.”
