The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Delta State Chapter heartily facilitates with the Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, CP Ari Mohammed Ali, on his elevation to the position of an Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG).
The entire women journalists in Delta State rejoice and celebrate you on this great milestone which to us is a true reflection of your hard work, commitment and dedication to duty.
We have carefully followed your performances and dutiful discharge of policing our dear Delta State and join others to say your recognition and promotion by the police authorities in Nigeria is very well-deserved.
We want to place on record that in your tenure as Commissioner of Police in Delta State, the job of policing the state witnessed a more purposeful and proactive approach which brought to the barest minimum acts of criminalities and other vices in the state.
You were indeed very gender-sensitive, bearing in mind the swift response of the Delta State Police Command to issues bordering on the abuses of the girl child and women in the state. Big kudos to you sir for always taking serious matters affecting women.
Under your watch journalists had improved working relationships with policemen across the state such that whenever there is any identified misunderstanding between members of the Fourth Estate of the Realm and your men it is quickly and amicably resolved.
It is our prayer that God Almighty will continue to grant you the needed guidance, protection, good health and wisdom to excel in your elevated assignment.
Women journalists in Delta State wish you well sir. Congratulations once again.
