Social Democratic Party, Gubernatorial Candidate for Delta State, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi has said that, the People’s Democratic Party, PDP led administration in the State has criminalised Local Government Council Chairmen by not receiving what they signed for from Federal government in Delta State.
Gbagi stated this during the SDP House of Representatives and House of Assembly flagging off campaign for Ughelli North, Ughelli South, Udu Federal Constituency seat and Ughelli North Constituency II seat at Ughelli Kingdom Hall.
He said, “As soon as I am inaugurated Governor of Delta State, I will liberate all Local Government Chairmen in the State. They will get what they signed for from the Federal Government and DESOPADEC for proper functioning. All Delta State children will enjoy free Education scholarship all through my years as Governor of Delta State. I will eradicate Herdsmen from our farms.
“Vote for a Southern President to take over Aso Rock. I begged you all to jettison the idea of voting for a Muslim man as your President. What has those contesting against me done for Urhobo land and Delta State in general? Nothing.
“Use your vote to tell Okowa that the lies he has tell Deltans are enough. Take this election very serious and change the history of Delta State with your votes. Vote for Hon Adeda Justice Okiotodoro and Engr Davies Emerayo Emerhi because they have your interest at heart. Take this election very serious and resist every attempt by those in the other party to deceive you again. Vote SDP to remove criminals from the affairs of Delta State.”
On his part, the SDP Delta State House of Assembly candidate for Ughelli North Constituency II, Hon Adeda Justice Okiotodoro, promised to ensure effective legislation that will genuinely improve the lives of the people in the constituency if elected to the State House of Assembly.
He said, “I will initiate legislation that will revamp Delta State education sector and eliminate high school fees in Tertiary Institutions as well as ensure Primary and Secondary Schools, with qualified teachers and conducive environment through legislation if elected in 2023.”
In their separate remarks, Elder Fred Owhotorofa, SDP National Vice Chairman South South, and Comrade Mike Dugbe- SDP Delta Central Chairman, urge the people of Ughelli North Constituency II to get their PVCS and vote SDP into power come February 25th Presidential, Senate and House of Representative election as well as March 11 Governorship and States House of Assembly elections.
