Chairman and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Orogun Ward I (Ughelli North Ward 3), Mr. Simon Ohwo and Chief George Oyefia respectively have revealed that the six projects diverted by the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege were situated in his village of Orhomurhu and not Orogun.

Ohwo and Oyefia who spoke at Orogun town during the ward-to-ward campaigns of the PDP to the area, said; “We want to make it clear that Orogun main town is the Headquarters and father to all the towns in Orogun Kingdom but all the developmental projects that came to Orogun Kingdom were diverted to Orhomurhu village.

“So, the assertion that all projects brought by Senator Ovie Omo-Agege were diverted to Orogun Kingdom is not true, rather they were diverted to Orhomurhu village. Some of them are even audio projects that are not even visible in Orhomurhu village.

“We will use our votes in 2023 to correct the misconception and to also tell leaders who are in a position of authority to be fair to the people they represent. We will place our lives on the line to deliver PDP here.

“The only visible development projects in Orogun main town and some other communities were done by the PDP-led administration in Delta State. So it will be unfair for us not to vote for the PDP in 2023.

“A good friend is better than a bad brother. PDP is the good friend and we all know the bad brother we have here. We will teach him a lesson with the BVAS he voted against in the Senate during the amendment of the Electoral Act. Gone are the days of rigging elections in Orogun, in 2023 we will match him tooth for tooth in ensuring that PDP wins Orogun Ward one, Ughelli North Local Government Area.
