The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists NAWOJ, Delta State Chapter, has felicitated with the wife of the State Governor, Dame Edith Okowa as she adds another glorious year, describing her as a great pillar behind the success story of her husband.
In a statement jointly signed by the state chairperson of the NAWOJ,Comrade Patricia Gbemudu and the state Secretary, Comrade Rita Andy-Adaigbe, Dame Okowa had contributed immensely to the success of her husband’s administration especially through her 0-5 Initiative.
The Association extolled the Governor’s wife for touching many lives especially women and children in the state and prayed God to grant her more fruitful years and good health to continue her selfless services for the good of mankind .
