Fovie Celebrates Oborevwori, Utuama Victory With Kinsmen In Ughevwughe

Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Delta Central District, Delta State, Chief Dr. Patrick Akpokiboro Fovie has celebrated the victory of the party in the state with his kinsmen in Ughevwughe community and environs, Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State.

 

The ceremony had Hon. Michael Oshetigho Djegbe, Chairman, PDP, Ughelli South LGA; Rt Hon. Dr. Lucky Avweromre (PhD), former Deputy Chief of Staff, Delta State Government House; Hon. Vincent Otidi, former Chairman, Ughelli South Local Government Council; Rt. Hon. Kenneth Fovie, former leader, Ughelli South Local Government Area Legislative Arm; Olorogun Gordons Okomitie, Executive Assistant to the Governor; Madam Roseline Emesechovwen, former Transition Committee member; Hon. Mrs. Ighofurhieta Ukren, former Transition Committee Vice Chairman; Comrade Ogberetitinor Obatarhe, Deputy President, NULGE, Delta State; Comrade Emmanuel Fovie, NULGE Chairman, Ughelli South Local Government Council; Hon. Anthony Omonigho, Barr. Martin Mukoro, Mr. Sisai Gbemudia, President General, Ughevwughe Community, Chief Lagos Eruemu, Chief James Toka, Chief Mrs. Grace Mragbozo and many others in attendance.

 

Speaking during the ceremony, Chief Fovie thanked stakeholders of the six quarters, Ekrokpeki, Ekrovie, Uduvwoku, Uduvworighele, Ekrore and Ekrevwerhe of the community who voted for the PDP in the last elections.

 

He noted that he had promised to host them if the PDP wins the governorship and House of Assembly elections in the community. “And to God be the Glory, the party won both elections in the community.

 

“We are very happy today that His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori won the Governorship election landslide in the state and Hon. Festus Utuama also won the Delta State House of Assembly election, Ughelli South Constituency landslide.

 

“What they need now is our support and prayers for them to succeed. And I know they will perform because the PDP is a performing party in the state hence the continuous support for it by the electorates.

 

Chief A. P Fovie also commended Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for his support and fatherly role that led to the PDP victory across the state. “I pray God to continue to guide and project him to serve in higher position in the country”.
