Mofoye Commends Gov. Oborevwori, Izeze For Award of Flyovers, Bridges Contract to Julius Berger

Vice Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Udu Local Government Area, Olorogun Saturday Mofoye, has expressed his appreciation for the decision made by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State and Commissioner for Works (Highway and Urban) Hon. Reuben Izeze to award the contract for the construction of flyovers and bridges to Julius Berger, a renowned construction company.



Mofoye praised the state government for prioritizing infrastructure development and taking the bold step to address the growing need for improved transportation and urban connectivity in the region.



He emphasized the significance of these projects in enhancing the overall development of Warri, environs and the state at large.



The Vice Chairman highlighted the potential benefits that the construction of flyovers and bridges would bring to the area, including reduced traffic congestion, improved road safety, and enhanced economic opportunities.



He also lauded the choice of Julius Berger, citing the company’s track record of delivering high-quality infrastructure projects.



Mofoye further urged the government and the chosen contractors to ensure transparency, timely execution, and adherence to the highest standards of construction to guarantee the successful completion of the projects.



He emphasized the importance of community engagement and urged stakeholders to work together to ensure that the construction process aligns with the needs and aspirations of the local residents.


Mofoye reiterated his support for the initiatives aimed at advancing the development of Warri and environs, and extended his gratitude to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and Commissioner Izeze for their commitment to improving the infrastructure and livelihoods of the people in the state.
