A Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Oyede, Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, Chief Othuke Otunumeruke has congratulated the State Governor on his first year Anniversary as the Governor of Delta State.
Chief Othuke in his congratulatory statement to His Excellency, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, said the Governor had shown a rare commitment and sincerity to the development of Delta State.
The statement read; “On behalf of my family and esteem followers, I wish to congratulate you on your first year Anniversary as the Governor of Delta State.
“Without any iota of doubt, you have redefined the word governance in our dear State. Your achievements are visible in all sectors across the State.
“I wish to specifically acknowledge your dogged determination to fix the many problems bedeviling the various sector in our dear State and by bringing renowned construction company, Julius Berger to construct major roads and flyovers in the Delta State.
“I and my followers are assured that your committed approach will bring us to the desired place as we strive to get better.
“Judging by the events of this first year in office, we are convinced that Delta is in safe hands and no matter the challenges ahead, we will overcome.
“I therefore congratulates His Excellency, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, all elected political office holders from Isoko Nation and Deltans at large happy one year in office anniversary. Long live Delta State and Nigeria.”
