A frontline Chairmanship aspirant for Uvwie local government council, Hon Victor Okoloba congratulated Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on his election tribunal victory being challenged by Senator Ovie Omo-Agege in the court.
The election tribunal, presided over by renowned Justices, announced its verdict after carefully reviewing the evidence and arguments presented by both parties.
Hon Victor Okoloba who hails Oborevwori over judgement, commended the tribunal’s ruling which emphasized that Omo-Agege’s petition lacked substantial evidence and failed to meet the legal threshold required to overturn the election results.
Upon hearing the news, Okoloba, a well-known political heavyweight and staunch supporter of Governor Oborevwori, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the governor.
Speaking to Newsmen at Asaba after the ruling, Okoloba expressed his satisfaction with the tribunal’s decision, describing it as a victory for democracy and the will of the people.
“Governor Oborevwori’s victory at the tribunal is a testament to the overwhelming support he enjoys from the people of our great State.
“The ruling affirms the credibility and transparency of the electoral process, upholding the voice of the electorate”, Okoloba stated.
Hon Okoloba further commended the tribunal for conducting a thorough and impartial review of the case, ensuring that justice was served.
He also praised the governor for his exemplary leadership, highlighting his numerous achievements and dedication to the welfare of the people.
