Delta Speaker Swears In Hon Jude Ogbimi

Speaker of the House of Assembly Delta State, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, has sworn-in Hon Jude Omena Ogbimi to represent Isoko North Constituency on the floor of the  House.
Hon Ogbimi whose election followed the demise of Hon Tim Kome Owhefere, then Majority Leader of the House, was sworn to the relevant oaths in line with the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria.
Speaking at the reception of his inauguration held at his Country home, Hon Ogbimi expressed gratitude to God Almighty for making his inauguration possible just as he commended his constituents for giving him their mandate.
In his words; “I dedicate this special day to God Almighty, because without God this wouldn’t have be possible.  Delay does not mean denial. I say a big thank you to my constituents, all Isoko North political leaders, the electorates,  the people I represent,  stand and will fight for in course of my legislative business, for giving me their mandate and I promise never to disappoint them.
“I thank all my leaders that are present,  the youths, the women, the men and friends that flew in from far and near, may God bless you all. What I need from you all is your prayers.  Do no judge me based on my skin but my attitude.  If I am deviating from my promises, do well to call me to order.
“Today Jude Omena Ogbimi carries the light. Jude Ogbimi represent fairness,  equity and justice. I do not represent any set. I stand for the truth and will never deviate from the truth and norms. I want the situation whereby the children of the poor will be somebody and how can we actualize this, its when you and I rub minds together. Let’s come together to move Isoko North Constituency forward to greater heights.
“We have a great leader in Isoko North who has represented Isoko nation at the Federal level, Hon Leo Ogor, I want to call on all constituents, most especially the women because the world revolves around them to pray for him to regain his health. Let us join hands together, to make Isoko North great again.  Let us unite to move Isoko North forward, in unity we stand, divided we fall.
“My gratest thanks goes to our amiable Governor,  Senator Dr.  Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa. He gave me the bold mind to come into politics fully,  because when I saw God’s handwriting about him, I supported him wholeheartedly. Today,  I am a product of Governor Okowa. I will key into his visions and make sure his vision is actualized. I know Isoko stand for truth and by the truth Isoko North Constituency will move forward.” Hon Jude Omena Ogbimi concluded.
Dignitaries who graced the reception of the newly inaugurated Honourable Member are; former Secretary to the Delta State Government,  Comrade Chief Ovuzourie Macaulay,  Honourable Member representing Isoko South Constituency II,  Hon Ferguson Onwo,  his Ika North East counterpart, Hon. Anthony Elekeokwuri, MD DESOPADEC,  Bashorun Askia Ogieh and his entourage, Chief Kome Okpobor,  Chief Emma Okpomo, former Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Council,  Hon Emmanuel Egbabor, among others from all nooks and crannies of Delta State and Nigeria at large.
