Gelor Dole Out Car, Cash, Bags of Rice To PDP Members In Ekakpamre Ward

A Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State, Comrade Uruemu Paul Gelor has gifted a Honda car to a PDP unit leader, Mr. Ochuko Ovoke in Urhiephron Community, Ughelli South ward 7.(Ekakpamre).


Gelor, a philanthropist who also empowered over 120 women, youths, elders and leaders with cash gifts and bags of rice, promised to do more for the people to ensure that the party win all seats in the ward come 2023.


The ceremony to give out the items was held in the country home of Olorogun Gordons Okomite, Ekakpamre town and had in attendance the PDP Delta State House of Assembly Candidate, Ughelli South Constituency, Engr. Festus Utuama.


Speaking during the presentation ceremony, Comrade Gelor said he decided to embarked on the empowerment programme to cushion the effect of the hunger the APC led administration brought upon Nigerians.


Gelor added that the gesture was to give back to the society, support all PDP candidates, Engr. Festus Eseoghene Utuama for House of Assembly Ughelli South Constituency, Chief Ighoyota Amori for Senate, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori for Governor and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for Nigeria President.


On his part, while presenting the car to the beneficiary, the PDP Delta State House of Assembly Candidate, Ughelli South Constituency, Engr. Festus Utuama presented the car to the beneficiary Comrade Ochuko on behalf of Comrade Gelor and the party, thanked the leadership of the ward for the mobilization and large turnout.


A prominent political leader of Ekakpamre and Executive Assistant to the Governor, Olorogun Samson Gordons Okomite stated that he decided to support Comrade Gelor due to his humility and vision to empower Ekakpamre people.


“We share the same ideology and philosophy and I am happy to associate with Gelor. I appealed to the good people of Ekakpamre ward to support and vote for all PDP Candidates 5/5.
