Olorogun Oghenefejiro Okpakpor, a prominent Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Iyede, Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, has advised Iyede people to exercise their civic responsibility by trooping out to register and collect their Permanent Voters’ Card, PVC, ahead of the forth coming general elections.
Olorogun Okpakpor gave the charge in a chat with newsmen in his country home, stressing that, this is the right time for his people to actively participate in the registration and electoral process come 2023 general elections.
According to him; “I am calling on Iyede people to turn out en-masse to register and collect their PVCs, because this is one of the strategies to change bad governance in Nigeria and for PDP to take over power at the Federal level.
“I am happy that, our people are no longer folding their arms in terms of the affairs that concerns them. I am therefore encouraging my people regardless of the stress they might undergo in the process of registering or collecting their PVCs to remain focus and be determined, because we are prepared to change the narrative.
“We, the people of Iyede kingdom are known for sokoto votes, this we are targeting to deliver bulk votes for PDP this time around such that will guarantee our great party’s victory in the 2023 general elections.”
