A former youth President of Ekpan community in Uvwie local government area, Comrade Magbadja Eghrudje has hailed His Excellency Sheriff Oborevwori on his well-deserved victory at the Supreme Court.
Comrade Eghrudje who was overwhelmed with the judgement of the supreme court for upholding the victory of governor Sheriff said the judiciary is actually the last hope of the common man.
“The decision of the Apex Court that upholds election of chief Elder Sheriff Oborevwori as duly elected Governor of Delta State has shown that Court is the last hope of the common man, I rejoice with His Excellency, Elder Sheriff Oborevwori and the good people of Delta State on the resounding Victory at the Supreme Court ,this shows that democracy has come to stay.
“Supreme Court has restored the reputation of Delta Judiciary by affirming the will of the masses, putting aside the desires of desperate politicians who were out to destroy democracy, it is well to note that the voice of the masses is the voice of God”, Comrade Magbadja Eghrudje stated.
The former youth President of Ekpan community further charged Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to continue with the good governance he has started for Delta people.
“As the Apex Court affirmed your mandate as the Governor of Delta State, it is now time to consolidate on credible governance which you have started in the past seven months “. As true Deltan, l have confidence in your competence and capacity to work for the interest of the citizenry “, Comrade Eghrudje added.
Comrade Magbadja Eghrudje used this medium to urged Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to unite Delta people by bringing credible persons cut across parties line on board to assist in actualizing his agenda to build a prosperous state. ” Unity of purpose is the best form of government that you need at this time to achieve your M.O.R.E agenda for Delta State.
I sincerely thank the Supreme Court judges for delivery people’s-centered judgment that affirmed Victory of H.E Elder Sheriff Oborevwori as Executive Governor of Delta State, saying that he is optimistic by the decision of the Supreme Court and pray they continue in delivering justices to all.
