Candidate of National Rescue Movement (NRM) in the just concluded Bye election for Isoko North Constituency seat at the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon.Comrade Moses Akpoghene Omovevah has congratulated the Peoples Democratic Party, candidate Hon Jude Omena Ogbimi who emerged winner of the election with 29,421 votes.
Hon Omovevah stated this while speaking with newsmen at the INEC collation center in Ozoro, headquarters of Isoko North Local Government Area, stressing that, his co-contestant, Hon Jude Omena Ogbimi victory at the poll is a clear fact that the electorates truly voted for the candidate and party of their choice.
He described the election as free and fair, noting that, all through the local government, there was no record of ballot snatching or any form of electoral malpractice. And this shows that, the electorates are well abreast with the election rules and they have voted in their preferred candidate.
According to Hon Omovevah; “On behalf of all other candidates that contested the election I congratulate Hon Ogbimi. His victory at the poll is clear, because the election was free and fair. I and my colleagues will join hands with Hon Jude Omena Ogbimi to help move the Constituency to greater height.”
