The Secretary, Ughelli Correspondent Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Delta State, Comrade Hezekiah Ovedhe, has poured encomiums on former Secretary to the Delta State Government, Comrade (Chief) Ovuozourie Samuel Macaulay on his 63 birthday anniversary.
In a congratulatory statement he personally signed to celebrate his Boss birthday, which was made available to newsmen, Ovedhe Hezekiah who also doubles as the Special Assistant on Media to Comrade (Chief) Ovuozourie Macaulay, described him as an astute Leader, administrator and political Chieftain whose leadership credentials were worthy of emulation.
The statement read in part; “As you mark your 63 years today, I join your numerous followers, well-wishers and Political Associates to celebrate you and all that you have accomplished through your humble beginnings to your illustrious career as the Pioneer State Chairman of our noble profession, Nigeria Union of Journalists, Delta State Council, a labour leader, two terms Commissioner, Chief of Staff and as a former Secretary to the State Government.
“Your leadership prowess has continued to reverberate round the entire Isoko nation, Delta State and beyond and we celebrate your unforgettable contributions to advancing our state, adding your commitment to humanity, and how you have, at different times through various capacities, impacted the people you lead, marked you out as a light that cannot be hidden.
“On behalf of my family, friends, and colleagues, we appreciate you and all you have done and still doing for the people of Isoko nation. Congratulations and wishing you many more years of fruitful service to humanity,” the statement added.
