Ozoro Kingdom Congratulate Oboreh On His Appointment As VC.

The President General of Ozoro Progress Union (OPU), Hon high Chief Daniel Miller Akpoili, has on behalf of the good people of Ozoro kingdom congratulated their son Prof Jacob Snapps Oboreh on his appointment as Vice Chancellor of Delta State University of Science and Technology, Ozoro.

 

 

This was contained in a congratulatory message to the VC signed by the President General, Hon high Chief Daniel Miller Akpoili and the Public Relation Officer of the kingdom, Prince Kennedy Elerara, describing Prof Oboreh as an illustrious son of Ozoro kingdom whose immense contribution to the development and growth of the kingdom are immeasurable.

 

 

According to the letter ; “On behalf of Ozoro kingdom, We write to congratulate our son Prof Jacob Snapps Oboreh on his appointment as Vice Chancellor of Delta State University of Science and Technology, Ozoro.

 

 

“Prof Jacob Snapps Oboreh is a true illustrious son and good ambassador of Ozoro kingdom, whose outstanding infrastructural development of the then Polytechnic which has now been upgraded to a University of Science and Technology by the Delta State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, are immeasurable and we are proud of his emergence as the first Vice Chancellor of the University.

 

 

“We appreciate the Governor of Delta State, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa for upgrading our Polytechnic, to a University of Science and Technology.

 

 

“We also commended the Delta State Governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa for appointing our son as Vice Chancellor who will lead the University for the next couple of years and we are sure that Prof Oboreh will move the University to an enviable height.

 

 

“We, the entire people Ozoro kingdom, also commended the Honourable Commissioner for Higher Education, Professor Patrick Mouboughare, for the role he played during the upgrade of our Polytechnic to a University,” the statement added.
