The position of OPAAN was made known in a press release signed by its president, Chief (Dr.) Obiuwevbi Ominimini and made available to newsmen in Delta State.

The release stated that the competency and pragmatic approach put to bear by Gen Ndiomu since his assumption in office as the Interim Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programm (PAP) has led to an uninterrupted free flow of Oil and Gas in the Oil Producing Areas of the Niger Delta region.

The release stated further that the high level of engagement & Consultations with the various leaders and stakeholders of the Oil Producing Areas of the Niger Delta region by his concerted efforts to ensure the free flow of oil operation in the region which was lacking in the past administration is a testamental to his unwavering competence to man the office of PAP and is worthy of commendation.

“Given the above, OPAAN scored Gen Ndiomu very high as he has demonstrated a high sense of capability, competence, and effective managerial expertise in managing the affairs of the Presidential Amnesty Programme without biases.

“OPAAN hereby passes a vote of implicit confidence on him and therefore calls on all well-meaning indigenes of the oil-bearing region of the Niger Delta to give his administration the needed supports and cooperation to succeed further in the task ahead of him as he is determined to make a change”.
