Delta State House of Assembly candidate for Isoko North Constituency, under People’s Redemption Party, (PRP), Hon Blessing Omojevwe Alumeri has congratulated the Governorship candidate of PDP in the State, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori on his victory in the just concluded Governorship and State House of Assembly elections.
Hon Alumeri in a statement made available to newsmen, advised those in opposition parties who lost in the weekend Governorship election to congratulate the winners rather than going to court.
The statement read in parts; “On behalf of my humble self and political supporters, I wish to congratulate the Governor elect of Delta State, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, on his victory in the weekend polls.
“His election victory, is a victory for all Deltans, all political groups and stakeholders. I therefore urge him to extend the hand of fellowship to all parties involved in the electoral process because only his party faithfuls cannot work with him to develop Delta State.
“I wish to congratulate the PDP candidate for Delta State House of Assembly, Isoko North Constituency, Barr Bernard Odior, on his victory for my Constituency seat in the State House of Assembly.
“I appreciate the Leadership of my party, Peoples Redemption Party, (PRP), who gave me the platform to test my popularlarity in the just concluded election. I urge all my supporters and party members to remain calm and focus because there are lots for us to achieve together in the struggle for a better Isoko North.”
