Delta State House of Assembly candidate for Isoko North constituency on the platform of Labour Party, LP, Prince Oghenerioja Usie has said that, putting his people first will be his top priority if given the mandate to represent them in the forthcoming general elections.

Prince Usie stated this when he was presented to the 13 Ward Chairmen of  Labour Party by the Local Government Party Chairman, Mr Thomas Ukere, assuring them of his determination to give his constituents effective representation.

Addressing Journalists after the meeting, Prince Usie Oghenerioja, said, if given the opportunity to serve, he will passionately represent the interest of the good people of Isoko North local government area, promising that “he would not let them down.”

In his words; “My mission ‘is to give a formidable representation for the good people of Isoko North at the State Assembly with a view to attracting developmental projects and promoting youth empowerment, reducing crime and guaranteeing adequate human and capital development in the constituency.

“I am in the race for the Isoko North Constituency Assembly seat to provide positive, all inclusive representation, that had been lacking in the constituency. I want to give quality representation to my people because they deserve it and much more.

“Before now, I have been carrying out philantrophic gestures that have direct bearing on the lives of my people, in my own personal capacity.

“And so getting the people’s mandate can only mean more projects and empowerment programs for the women and youths to realize their full potential.

“I will hold quarterly town hall meetings to ensure popular views and needs of communities are documented and a follow up to ensure positive action.

“I will be bringing my youthful energy and new ideas to turn things around for the good of everyone. It won’t be business as usual I assure you. And I will also initiate quality legislation that would improve the socio-economic well-being of his constituents and the Delta people at large’. He added.

In a swift response,  the Isoko North Labour Party Chairman, Mr Thomas Ukere, expressed his gratitude to Prince Usie and his supporters, noting that,  him and his team will work to ensure that they deliver all Labour Party candidates vying for elective positions in the next general elections.
