The president has done well by this appointment but we look forward to more.

“A great man does not think of the immediate alone he thinks ahead. I like to relate with people who have ambitions, higher foresight. The Rufus Ebegba Centre for Leadership and Environment Sustainability is all built on the wellbeing of the Urhobo nation, Delta state and Nigeria and I respect that commitment. For thinking, believing and considering us worthy to share your dream with, we will partner with you to actualize your dreams. I have never heard of you nor was I aware that you were given appointment I feel highly humbled that you came here to introduce yourself to me and to recognize my office without you expecting anything from me now you are wonderful and I pray to have more of your likes. I am a man that is so easily satisfied but I want to admonish you keep it up as you do not lose anything by being good.

“Remain focused as you are now because it is only a focused man that will think about all that you are thinking about. You are thinking about how to better the lives of people that is how to be a big man if you call yourself a big man and all around you are ‘hangers on’ you are the poorest of all persons because if anything happens to you, you have nobody to turn to. You belong to a class of your own; I love your humility, your sense of direction and your commitment to your race and mankind. Anytime you need me to be part of your activities feel free to call me whether long or on short notice and I will oblige you.”

Hon. Onoabedje Obakpororo Chairman APC Ughelli North LGA and Leaders, Executives/Ward Leaders, received and welcomed Dr. Rufus Ebegba and his team joyously using the opportunity to thank him for his good works geared toward the betterment of humanity. “Your love for the party is evident for all to see as your every move and visit since last year has been hinged on the need for unity in APC Delta State.”

Earlier in his address, Dr. Rufus Ebegba stated that the greatest challenge facing the nation today is insecurity a major threat to development. “Across the nation today militancy, Boko Haram, armed robbery, kidnapping, 419 is being perpetuated by the youths but if we can conscientize them I believe we would sleep with two eyes closed and spend less on hiring security personnel. Under my leadership of the Centre for Leadership and Environment Sustainability I will use it to promote the involvement of youths in leadership participation because I believe that if they are involved in leadership they will be more responsible and see the need to ensure that there is peace.

“I am here today to intimate you about this cause because as traditional rulers, party leaders people look up to you so you have a major role to play in ensuring that everyone goes about their normal duties without harassment or fear of intimidation. The need for peace, unity and security is very paramount I will continue to pursue these things with the might and money given to me by God. I must not also forget to commend APC leaders, elders and party faithful’s who have stood their ground an

d worked for the success of the party in the state these past years despite the choking politics being played by the People’s Democratic Party.”
