Three Indigent Youths Benefits From OYC Human Capital Development, Empowerment Scheme

In a bid to complement the Delta state government human capital developmental goals, three indigent youths, Joel Shadrach, Alfred Blessing and Godstime Edhughoro has benefitted from Oleh Youth Council (OYC) Human Capital Development, Empowerment Scheme.

 

Addressing journalist shortly after registering the beneficiaries who are to learn furniture and woodwork at a workshop situated along Ogbemudia road, Oleh, Isoko South Local Government Area, Chairman of Oleh Youth Council, Comrade Okeh Best Fego said “the major goal of this Human Capital Development and Empowerment Scheme is to use entrepreneurship to curb the restlessness of youth.

“It has not been easy but we thank God for his manifold blessings because last year we could only register one person to learn welding and fabrication. Today he is doing excellently well and learning very fast. We however call on all the illustrious sons and daughters of Oleh and well-meaning individuals in the society to partner with us in building and promoting this platform to an enviable height.

“We will continue to complement the Delta state government human capital development goals by providing an enabling environment for skills acquisition in Isoko South. So we expect Joel Shadrach, Alfred Blessing and Godstime Edhughoro to do excellently well like the first beneficiary.”

 

He was accompanied by members of his executive cabinet, Prince Lucky Osioni, Vice Chairman, Omenuwoma Josiah, Secretary General, Loretta Ugbo, Women’s leaders and others to register the three beneficiaries.
