The Managing Director of Obi Teddy Promotions, Comrade Obi Teddy has called on Nigerian youths particularly in Delta state to shun crime, drug abuse and be responsible leaders of tomorrow.
Obi Teddy, an entertainment guru gave this charge during the 6th edition of the Obi Teddy Promotions ,LastMan Standing Awards in Ughelli North local government area of Delta State..
According to him, It is time for youths in our country to come together invest, and key into government policies for a better and brighter future..
Today as you can see, those that are in power started as youths, they never started at old age and if our country, community and society must grow, we must be innovative and build the institution of lives.
“We are using this Last Man sSanding Awards to bring the Nigeria youths together especially in Delta state in other to encourage them to be productive.
“This is the sixth edition of the annual event and we are in partnership with foreign entertainers to bring out the best from our youths in their various skills.
“The event is meant for recognizing outstanding Artiste, Producers, Dancers and other Personalities in South/South and Delta State in particular.
“In times past major awards in Nigeria were focused on the Western region alone, so the platform was founded to recognize south south personalities and beyond the shore of this country”
One of the awardee, ‘Janto Money’ while speaking after receiving ‘Man of the Year’ from Obi Teddy Promotions said, “It is time for us as youths in Delta state to shun violence and creative.
Janto Money said, “I am into fish farming and employer of labour in Ughelli and by the special grace of God, I can tell you that many youths have ventured into my business of fish hatching.
“I and my brother came to Ughelli in 2018 with nothing, but the skill of fish hatchery was with me and today from that little beginning, we can supply millions of fingerlings nationwide. This award will boost me to do more by engaging the youths to be self-sustaining and creative.
Commending the organizers of Obi Teddy Promotions for the award, ‘Janto’ dedicated the award to the people of Ughelli North, as he vowed to contribute more before to help in promoting peace. I will collaborate the the organizers of the event to ensure our youths excel in their various business acumen.
“In any thing you are doing, there are people that take cognizance of it and that our little hatchery business gave us this award”.
