Ahead of the forthcoming general elections, indigenes of Isoko ethnic nationality living in North America has expressed their support for Engr Jonathan Ukodhiko of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as their preferred candidate for the Isoko Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives.
Making the disclosure on Sunday from Houston, Texas, Mr Benedict Adhuze said “Isoko professionals who are based in North America have found Mr Jonathan Ukodhiko the most competent and prepared candidate worthy to succeed the incumbent member, Rt Hon Leo Ogor In the National Assembly”.
According to him, “Isoko people in the Diaspora are with Engr Jonathan Ajirioghene Ukodhiko because he is a man that is compassionate and he understands the importance of being politically marginalized”
Noting that, “the former Delta Energy Commissioner, Engr Ukodhiko is smart, highly educated, creative, widely exposed, endowed with lobbying skills, and respected in his community both home and abroad.“
Mr. Adhuze, a former Delta State House of Assembly hopeful stated that, “Ukodhiko is ready to work with young men in Isoko nation to make a brighter future for Isoko sons and daughters“
“For us here at the diaspora in America he is the best choice to represent Isoko nation at the Federal level in Abuja. Let us stand for the future of our children, youth and elderly.
“Voting for Jonathan Ukodhiko of the PDP in the 2023 general elections means voting for a better Isoko future, sustainable development, unity and inclusiveness, human development, progressive reforms through enabling laws,” Mr Adhuze added.
