The Afiesere community of Ughelli North local government area of Delta state, on Monday, elected Mr. Richard Ovwreghederohwo, aka Aduvie as the new president elect and other members of executives.
The election which was held at Afiesere community by the Chairman of the Electoral Commitee, Mr. Thomas Ezewu, said the election was done in line with the Afiesere community constitution.

Mr. Sunday Igbudu ( Financial Secretary),
Mr Francis Obire ( Internal Auditor),
Mr. Attwood Obire ( Ex-Official),
Mr. Ovuoke Eghwrudjakpor (Ex – Official),
Mr. Anthony Ejovi ( Ex – Official),
Mr Daniel Oshebinama ( Ex – Official),
Mr Gabson Iloloje ( Ex – Official) and
Mr Augustine Emosivwe ( Ex – Official)
The Chairman of the electoral committee, Mr. Thomas Ezewu while speaking commended the President of Afiesere community, Mr. Victor Otumemine and his members of the executives for providing all necessary documents and information for a hitch free election.
Meanwhile the president elect of Afiesere community, Mr. Richard Ovwreghederohwo aka Aduvie in his acceptance speech commended the new executive under the leadership of Mr. Victor Otumemine for providing enabling environment for the election.
Mr. Richard Ovwreghederohwo aka Aduvie while speaking further promised to run an open door policy when the president, Mr. Victor Otumemine will officially handed over mantle of leadership to him on the 12th of August, 2020.
He promised to ensure that his administration will ushers in peaceful co-existence among members of Afiesere community and said that he will never disappoint the leadership over the confidence repose on him as he assumed office on 12th August, 2020.
The President, Mr. Victor Otumemine who spoke to newsmen on the successful election, thanked the electoral committee, the security agents and other members of the community for peaceful election.
