Uduaghan, Frontier Ladies Partner For Positive Development Of The Girl-Child

The Delta State Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Community Support Services, and Girl Child Development, Orode Uduaghan, has expressed her readiness to partner with members of Frontier Ladies for Sheriff to promote humanitarian efforts and girl child development in the state.

 

 

The commissioner, who made this known when leaders and members of Frontier Ladies for Sheriff paid her a courtesy visit at Asaba, the state capital, shared her vision and outlined her plans to enhance the provision of humanitarian services, strengthen community support systems, and promote the well-being and development of the girl child.

 

 

She assured members of the group of inclusion in the programs of the ministry and emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts and partnership with various stakeholders to achieve sustainable progress within her department.

 

 

Uduaghan expressed her gratitude to the Frontier Ladies for Sheriff for their visit and their willingness to collaborate. She acknowledged the value of partnerships with influential individuals and organizations in driving positive change and emphasized the need for collective action to create a better future for the most vulnerable members of society.

 

 

Earlier, Ms. Ese Joyce Okproko, Chief Convener/Coordinator of the group, congratulated Uduaghan on her recent appointment as the Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Community Support Services, and Girl Child Development.

 

 

Okproko expressed admiration for Uduaghan’s track record of dedicated service to the community and her passion for uplifting the most vulnerable members of society.

 

 

She noted that her appointment by Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor of Delta State, was a significant step towards addressing the pressing challenges that affect women and children in the state

 

 

The Frontier Ladies, known for their philanthropic activities and advocacy for gender equality, expressed their willingness to support and partner with Uduaghan’s office in implementing programs and initiatives.

 

 

Okproko highlighted the group’s commitment to empowering women and girls and pledged their full support to the Commissioner’s office in championing the cause of the girl child.

 

 

She also stressed the importance of addressing issues such as access to quality education, healthcare, and protection against gender-based violence.
