The Delta Central 2023 (DC-23) lobby group has congratulated Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta state on his 62nd birthday anniversary, describing him as a man with good leadership qualities and values worthy of emulation by every citizen of Nigeria.
DC-23 in a statement signed by its National Chairman, Senator Ighoyota Amori and National Publicity Secretary, Olorogun Arthur Akpowowo, said the state is now currently a valued state, governed by a valued leader, hence, the reason for the on-going infrastructural development across the state.
According to the statement, “as you mark your 62 years today, we celebrate you and all that you have accomplished through your humble beginnings to your illustrious career as the current governor of Delta state, former Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and amongst others.
“Your leadership prowess has continued to reverberate round the entire state and beyond and we celebrate your unforgettable contributions to advancing our state, adding your commitment to humanity, and how you have, at different times through various capacities, impacted the people you lead, marked you out as a light that cannot be hidden”.
“On behalf of the people of Delta Central Senatorial District and the state at large, we appreciate you and all you have done and still doing for the people of the state. Congratulations and wishing you many more years of fruitful service to humanity,” it added.
