Egin Already Denied His Kidnap Allegation, Egbema Traditional Council, ELOT, IYC Tells Warri NBA

The people of Egbema kingdom have admonished the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Warri Branch and other interested groups to steer clear of matters bordering on the kingdom and its monarch, as they had no clue on the happenings in the kingdom.

 

The Egbema people in a statement signed by High Chief Cyrus Olopele, Secretary, Egbema Traditional Council, stated that the warning was because of recent reports in some national dailies on the alleged kidnap of one of their sons and legal practitioner, Napoleon Egin (Esq.), by unidentified persons.

 

They stated in the statement jointly signed by Egbema Leaders of Thought (ELOT), Egbema Youth Council (EYC) and Ijaw Youth Council (IYC), Egbema Chapter in Edo and Delta states, that the Warri Branch of the NBA and Izon Lawyer’s Forum had in the publications addressed Mr. Napoleon Egin as Agadagba-elect which they said was sacrilegious and an affront on the entire Egbema Kingdom.

 

According to the statement, “they also alleged in their publication that Napoleon Egin was Kidnapped; an allegation which the said Egin cleared that at no time was he kidnapped; and, there is a video evidence to this clarification on the kidnap story.

 

“We wish to state categorically that the said publication was erroneous, misleading and uncalled for, to say the least. Mr. Ogheneovo Okoro, author of the publication and his likes should not cry more than the berieved.

 

“The Palace of the Agadagba is not aware of the kidnapping of any individual before and after the coronation of HRM Meshack Eseighotiegha Ubabiri, Bini Pere IV, Agadagba of Egbema Kingdom,” it added.
