Obaseki Quits APC



Following decisions that evicted him from participating in the forthcoming primary election of the party.  Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has formally quit the ruling All Progressives Congress.


Obaseki who has been at loggerheads with his predecessor and the national chairman of the party,, Adams Oshiomhole  for years, today resigned from the APC after his visit to President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja


The party’s National Working Committee (NWC) recently disqualified the governor from contesting the party’s primary election slated for June 22, Thereby  ruining his chances of recontesting in the September governorship election in the state.
