The 14th Annual Inter House Athletic competition of Owodokpokpo Grammar School, Owodokpokpo – Igbide in Isoko south local government area of delta state will hold on Monday March 4 2024 between 11am and 4pm at the schools sports field.
In a statement, the principal of the school, Mr Daniel Emeni said sports is an important aspect of education that helps students to build up their body and mind adding that the contest would be held in tandem with the Athletic Federation of Nigeria (AFN) rules and regulations.
Billed to chair the event is quintessential entrepreneur cum politician Ambassador Charles Alakpa while the member representing Isoko south constituency two at the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon Ferguson Onwo and the Delta State commissioner for land and survey, Chief Emamusi Obiode are expected as special guests of honour.
The statement further noted that the chief inspector of education for Isoko south local government area,Mr Adeda Ekuevugbe and the permanent secretary, post primary education board, delta south, Mrs Ejedimu A.A would be the chief host
