Urhobo Youth Leaders Congratulate Oyibode, Izeze, Others On Swearing In As Commissioners

Members and leaders of Urhobo Youth Leaders Association (UYLA), have congratulated the newly sworn in commissioners of Urhobo extraction in Delta state.

 

The group congratulated Olorogun Vincent Oyibode, Commissioner for Oil and Gas; Hon. Reuben Izeze, Commissioner for Works (Highways and Urban); Mr. Sonny Akporokiamo Ekedayen, Commissioner for Economic Planning; Hon. Onoriode Agofure, Commissioner for Transport; Prof. Johnbull Tonukari, Commissioner for Higher Education; Hon. Terry Ejiro Etagherure, Bureau for Special Duties; Mrs. Rose Ezewu, Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education and Mr. Ejiro Tommy Jamani, Commissioner for Environment, describing their positions as square pegs in square holes.

 

UYLA in a statement signed by Olorogun Samuel Oghotomo, President and Chief Augustine Atiti, Secretary General, noted that the new commissioners have shown political tact and sagacity in their many years of service to the party and the state.

 

The Urhobo Youth Leaders stressed that the newly sworn in commissioners will bring their wealth of experience to bear in the discharge of their duties even as they contributes their quota to the M.O.R.E agenda of Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori led administration.

 

“We therefore congratulate illustrious sons and daughter of Urhobo in Delta Central senatorial district on their well-deserved appointment and swearing in as members of the State Executive Council.

 

“These appointments and swearing in are coming at a critical time in the history of our state and nation and therefore underscores the importance to the good governance and development of our state.

 

“With your capacities and political sagacity over the years, we have no doubt in mind that you will all bring your wealth of experiences garnered over the years to bear on your new assignments. We therefore congratulate and wish all of you successful tenure in office,” it added.

 

UYLA thanked Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for their appointments, and promised to stand by his policies to enable him deliver on his M.O.R.E. for Deltans.
