Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Political Matters, Hon Jude Omena Ogbimi today, Sunday, 29th November 2020 play host to his political Associates, members of Isoko  North Equity Movement, Isoko People’s Parliament (IPP) of Otibio, Iyede People’s Voice and members of People Democratic Party (PDP) drawn from the 13 wards of the Local Government Area.

 

Speaking during the event at his home town at Otibio where more than 1500 PDP members were in attendance, Ogbimi appreciated God for keeping all during the COVID 19 Pandemic and appealed to all to work together to foster unity in the party in Isoko North Local Government Area.

Hon Jude Ogbimi thank God for preserving the life of everyone all throughout the COVID-19 pandemic which ravaged the world.

 

Present at the hosting ceremony were Hon. Emmanuel Egbabor, Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Council, Chief Kome Okpobor, Executive Assistant to the Governor, Dr Nelson Ejakpovi, Executive Assistant to the Governor, Engr Peter Odunwa, Patron of Isoko Peoples Parliament, Chief Emma Okpomo, Chief Frank Esiwo Ozue, SSA to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Secretary to Isoko North Local Government Council, Mr Kome Ozue, members of Isoko North Equity Movement, Iyede Peoples Voice and his constituents.

He commended the State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa for his developmental strides which cuts across all nooks and crannies of the state and Olorogun Kingsley Esiso for sustaining equity, justice, peace and unity in the party which has resulted to the growth of the party in the state.

 

The Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Council, Hon Emmanuel Egbabor conveyed a message of appreciation from His Excellency, Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa, the State Governor to the people of Isoko North Local Government Area for their supports, cooperation and peaceful disposition in the area. He praised the people for the massive turnout which described as overwhelming.

 

Egbabor urged the Isoko North people to always support the prosperity for all Deltans Agenda of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and work to sustain peace as well as success of the party.

 

He commended all party faithfuls and the people of Isoko North Local Government Council for working together for the success of the party in past elections in ensuring that PDP came out victorious and for the support given to Governor Okowa and his administration by sustaining peace in the local government.

 

The Chairman asked the people of Isoko North Local Government to pray for the Governor and Chief Kingsley Esiso, PDP State Chairman, who has strengthened the party at the state level.

 

On his part, Dr Nelson Ejakpovi, harped on the need to rotate elective political offices in Isoko North, noting that elective positions in the state executive as well as the state party executive are rotated within all senatorial districts in the state and same should apply to elective positions in Isoko North for equity, fairness and justice.

 

Others who spoke in the vein are; Engr Peter Odunwa, Patron of Isoko Peoples Parliament, Hon Chief Apar Itesah, Leader of Isoko North Equity Group, Comrade Solomon Ogbodoko, who spoke on behalf of of Chairman Iyede Peoples Voice. They all sued for rotation of electives political offices in Isoko North among the clans in the area and also promise to work for the success of the party in all forthcoming elections.

 

Highlights of the occasion was the inauguration of the executives of Isoko Peoples Parliament by their Patrons, Engr Peter Odunwa and Hon Jude Omena Ogbimi.
