Ukhodiko Enjoin IPP Members To Promote The Development Of Isoko Nation

Patron of Isoko People’s Parliament, IPP Pastor (Engr.) Jonathan Ukhodiko has enjoined members of the group to always promote the development of Isoko nation.

Speaking at the political pressure group meeting, over the weekend at Otor-Igho, Ukhodiko said, “The essence of this meeting is for members to familiarize themselves with one another. I enjoin you all to use your various offices to promote the development of Isoko nation. Let us all stand firm to rebuild our beloved nation to be the envy of other ethnic groups.

“Imbibe the spirit of oneness and always acknowledge God whenever you are in the corridor of power, because God gives promotion and also decides your fate when you fail to acknowledge him. I encourage the youths amongst us to be productive and enterprising. whilst academic certificates are essential everyone must not depend on certificates attained from Higher institutions of learning before they cater for self and family, God can only bless the work of ones hands.”

He harped on the need for youths to learn a trade and promised to do his best in the area of sustainable empowerment so many will be gainfully engaged and employed.

On his part, Engr. Peter Odunwa, commended every member of the group for attending the meeting, noting that, the groups major aim is towards attracting human capital and infrastructural development, as well as ensuring fairness and equity.

Responding on behalf of members of the group, Lucky Ugbakara commended the  patrons of the group (Pastor (Engr) Jonathan Ukhodiko, Engr. Peter Odunwa and Hon Jude Omena Ogbimi for reaching out to the people in the various communities by providing substantial financial palliatives and relief during the lockdown.

Members of the group also paid a courtesy visit to High Chief Moses Odeh to welcome him home as a father and also to pledge to always seek advice from him as an elder and leader. They appreciated him for his immense contributions, specifically in attracting goodwill to the community, saying he has set the ball rolling for every one of them.

In his response, High Chief Odeh expressed happiness over the visit and commended them for the great effort in developing the community. He said unity attracts more development to a nation and promised to always keep his door open whenever they need him. He prayed for God’s blessings, protection and guidance upon them and all their followers.

The group comprising of members cutting across Isoko Nation, has Pastor (Engr.) Jonathan Ukhodiko, Engr. Peter Odunwa, and Hon Jude Omena Ogbimi as Patrons/conveners.
